Recipes and gardening tips from refugees!

We are delighted to share a book of recipes and gardening tips created by refugees and migrants, from our partner Speak Street. Through a six week residency at the Skip Garden funded by the Near Neighbours Fund, Speak Street volunteers, together with refugees and migrants, many of them Islington Centre clients, came together to garden, cook, and eat together – and to learn English. This delightful book of recipes from around the world (together with some very useful gardening tips!) is the result. It’s a very special creation, reflecting the diversity and knowledge of the refugees in our community. Please read it, use it, and share it – and let us know what you think?
